Grapes harvested mid October. Cold fermentative premaceration, temperature controlled fermentation with frequent pumping over, punching the cap, long post-fermentation maceration and a long time on the lees. |
Aging |
Aged 12-15 months in small oak barrels (barriques) and in the bottle for 6-8 months. Suitable for long aging, 15-20 years. |

Tasting Notes |
Intense ruby red color with purple overtones. Complex and decisive bouquet characterized by its notes of blackberry, raspberry and spice. Very persistent on the palate, full bodied , well structured wine, warm and soft, decidedly tannic. |
