NASCETTA

NASCETTA – WHITE GRAPE FOR WHITE WINE Nascetta is a semi-aromatic vine variety, originating from the Municipality of Novello, Piedmont and in 2010 was granted its own DOC. Nascetta has a fresh palate with crisp, apple flavors and citrus and honey notes and wines are perfumed with Muscat-like floral qualities alongside riper, tropical fruit aromas. Overall, Nascetta wines have an expressiveness that is hard to ignore. In a region where Nebbiolo is the undisputed king of the red wines, Nascetta could be a future contender for the region's best white variety.

Among the serving dishes it goes well with Asparagus and mozzarella bake, grilled squid with lemon and garlic and seared scallops with fennel salad.
