SANGIOVESE  – RED GRAPE FOR RED AND ROSE’ WINES Sangiovese is one of the most important Italian grape varieties, the most cultivated in Italy. The wine obtained from the Sangiovese grape is of an intense ruby red color. On the palate it is warm, fruity, tannic, with a delicate bouquet of violet, cherry, iris, rose, black cherry, peony, blackberry and plum.
