SANGIOVESE  – RED GRAPE FOR RED AND ROSE’ WINES Sangiovese is one of the most important Italian grape varieties, and one of the most cultivated in Italy. The wine made from Sangiovese grapes is an intense ruby red color. On the palate it is warm, fruity, and tannic, with a delicate bouquet of violet, cherry, iris, rose, black cherry, peony, blackberry and plum.

It’s the wine to pair with barbeque, and goes perfectly with lasagna with meat sauce, kebabs, hamburgers and all meat-based dishes.
