Grillo is a Sicilian white grape variety. Wines made from Grillo are light, bright and straw yellow in color. The fruit and citrus aromas are well integrated with floral notes of wildflowers and orange blossom. On the palate the wine is fresh, well- structured with a pleasant, slightly savory, mineral finish.
Grillo pairs well with fish and shellfish dishes. It can also accompany eggs, charcuterie, and white meats. Additionally, it compliments a variety of Asian cuisines.
