MALVASIA  – WHITE GRAPE – WHITE AND SWEET WINES Malvasia is an ancient family of grapes that includes a diverse collection of noble varieties. These grapes are capable of producing sparkling and sweet styles, and while it can produce wines lighter in color, it is most often characterized by its dark coloring with rich, ripe and nutty flavors.

Malvasia pairs well with light dishes, like delicately cured meats such as prosciutto, mortadella and pancetta, while as an aperitif it goes well with slightly seasoned cheese.
