GARGANEGA
Garganega is best known as the white grape variety used to make Soave DOC/DOCG and Gambellara DOC in Northern Italy’s Veneto region. Whichever doc/docg it hails from, the classic Garganega wine is marked out by aromas of peach blossom, almond, apricot and baked golden apples.
It’s perfect as an aperitif, paired with appetizers and first courses, such as risottos, dishes based on fish, white meats, poultry and rabbit. It also compliments vegetables and light omelets.
