The wine of the Riesling Italico grape is straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. The nose is fruity, with notes of quince and apricot, sometimes with slight mineral hints. On the palate it is fresh and dry, medium-bodied, with a slight bitter aftertaste.
Rieslings are excellent with fish and crustaceans because the mineral notes blend harmoniously with the iodized flavors of the fish. But they also go well with poultry, white meats and goat cheeses.
