RIESLING ITALICO
Wines made from the Riesling Italico grape, (also known as Welschriesling), are straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. The nose is fruity, typically with notes of quince and apricot and sometimes with slight hints of minerality. On the palate it is fresh, dry, and medium-bodied, with a slight almond skin finish.
Riesling Italico is excellent with fish, shellfish and crustaceans because the mineral notes blend harmoniously with seafood. It also pairs well with poultry, white meats and goat cheeses.
