PUGLIA Puglia (Apulia to many English speakers) is a long, thin wine region in the far south-eastern corner of the 'boot' of Italy. Puglia wine region has a wide variety of terroir that is expressed in wines giving rich aromas and flavours. Vines here favour from natural gifts, the sun and the soil.

Because of this, wines from here have a strong character and distinctive identity.
The majority of the vines from the wine region of Puglia are red. And like no other wine region, Puglia is famous for the grape variety Primitivo.
Together with Primitivo, Negroamaro is also one of the most widespread grape variety.
These two grape varieties are unique for the region and mainly cultivated in the southern part.
