Tasting Notes |
Color hue is ruby red tending towards garnet red. Bouquet is clean as well as complex with a great array of assertive fruity varietal aromas reminiscent of small black and red forest understory fruits such as blackberry, black cherry, black currant (cassis) and spicy aromas reminiscent of fine toasted woods, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, coffee, cloves, etc. Fruity flavors, full mouth-feel, round high concentration of noble tannins, great structure and long persistent finish. |
